Fashion Ethics
what they did on that dove evolution of beauty commercial was wrong! the changed her look the shape of her mouth and eyes the thickness of her neck ho long her hair was the make up shadow. its not the right thing to do! i think it is not ethically OK that they change the way a person can look. under the circumstances that it is for a commercial it is not OK but showing inanimate objects that might not show much might be a little better. the type of fixing scratches is okay even moving pyramids is OK but changing the look of a person and showing brutality is not OK with me. fashion photography is way off photojournalism i think that photojournalism is a trust worthy organization while fashion is not. photo journalism may change some photos but fashion might have been changing allot, who know how many ads and billboards have been telling lies of how people look how some might look and say that the wish that they can get as successfully as that; photojournalism is not like that much change.
Photojournalism Ethics
i think that all photojournalism ethics should be absolute because nobody should lie and tell others lies. i don't think you can ever catch truth in a picture it doesn't tell you enough about the subjects background and isn't enough truth to tell. other than fix a few scratchs in some photos i dont think i ever changed realit in my pictures. it is important for news organizations to have clearly defined ethical standards because its up to them to send out the truth to people and have an honest organization.

doctored photos

I do think that the wisconsin doctored photo is very unethical i think that just adding a minority in to the photo shows that the school is mostly white and thats the truth.
i think the photo with Bill Clinton isn't that unethical because the photo could just be showing an example of what might have happen
UW-Madison doctors photo to stress diversity

I think that the doctored photo was very unethical. doctoring that photo is very wrong just to show that your university has minorities. i think they did do the wrong thing and shouldn't have doctored that photo. they should have just left the photo alone and see what would have happened. i think it is very unethical to doctor any photo i think it is right to tell the truth and have no secrets.

Melanie Burford
Melanie Burford used the rule of thirds, simplicity and some framing to make her pictures what they are outstanding. i think that the reason Melanie Burford took all of her compelling photos is to get people aware of whats happening to sugar hill.

the camera
the pinhole camera is sorta like the SLR because they both have light pass threw them to make an image. but are different because they have different speeds and ways to get the light exposure
